About the Role:

Creative Support Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality, person-centred support to older adults in a residential nursing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with personal care and domestic tasks to enable individuals to maintain their independence and wellbeing
  • Support individuals to access work, education, and social opportunities to promote their health and happiness
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to deliver a holistic and proactive approach to care and support
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a person-centred approach to care
  • Participate in regular supervision and appraisal meetings to discuss training and development needs and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care and support setting, although not essential, is desirable
  • Ability to work in a flexible manner, including evenings and weekends, on a roster basis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for all service users
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
