Cavendish Professionals Ltd is proud to be an equal opportunities employer and values diversity in the workplace. We are seeking an exceptional Project Coordinator - Steel Works to join our dynamic team.

This role involves overseeing the successful completion of multiple steel work projects across London, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • To ensure accurate and efficient ordering of project materials.
  • To coordinate project designs between internal and external design teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • To manage labour resources effectively and distribute contractor packs as per the project schedule.
  • To develop and implement effective risk assessments, method statements, and lift plans to guarantee safe systems of work.
  • Monitor site operations to ensure adherence to safe systems of work at all times.
  • Collaborate with other project/contract/design managers in planning, scheduling, and executing works.
Requirements:
  • CSCS Site Manager Card and SMSTS.
  • BTEC, HNC or HND, or degree in a building-related subject. Work-based NVQs are desirable.
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • Experience in commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Fully up-to-date knowledge in the metalwork industry.
  • Previous experience as a Project/Contracts Manager.
  • Good IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid UK driving license is desirable.
