About the Role

As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in supporting the safe production of beverages and meals for our residents. Your focus will be on maintaining a clean environment and upholding high standards of hygiene in food preparation.

  • You will understand and adhere to the principles of safe food handling, ensuring all food preparations meet the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Contributing fully to team working, responding positively to colleagues, and actioning all reasonable work instructions promptly is essential.
  • You will advise on the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks, ensuring timely and appropriate ordering of replacement goods.
  • Acting with respect and dignity towards residents and their visitors is crucial.
About You

To excel in this role, you must embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all aspects of your work.

  • You should hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate exceptional personal hygiene standards.
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments is necessary.
  • An efficient worker capable of sustained physical effort and adapting to a demanding workload is required.
  • You should exhibit initiative, display a positive attitude towards team working, and show a caring understanding towards our residents.
