This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the future of Commsave Credit Union while building your expertise in governance and risk management. You will work closely with a dedicated team to support the development of risk appetite statements and ensure the Credit Union's Risk Register is up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring risk management strategies and ensuring the Credit Union's Risk Register is current.
- Supporting the development of risk appetite statements and implementing effective audit processes.
- Reporting to the Board of Directors on audit and risk matters.
Benefits and Requirements
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 per annum, plus reimbursement for travel expenses and caring requirements. As a volunteer, you will have opportunities for personal and professional development while making a meaningful contribution to the community. This role is ideal for those passionate about audit, risk, or corporate governance, with a willingness to collaborate with a dedicated team.
The estimated time commitment is around 30 hours per year, plus occasional events and training sessions. Our Sub-Committee meets every other month on a Tuesday afternoon for approximately 2–3 hours. This flexible commitment can work around other priorities.
