About the Job: As an Academic Education Support Specialist, you will deliver one-to-one tuition sessions in a home or public space setting, focusing on core subjects like Maths, English, and Science. Your role will involve working closely with children to develop their knowledge and skills, using tailored resources to cater to their individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide academic support to students with SEN and SEMH needs
- Deliver educational sessions face-to-face in a child's home or public space
- Plan and develop resources to meet the specific needs of each child
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children
