Full-Time Dental Receptionist Job Description

We are a reputable dental practice in London, seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work 5 days a week, ensuring smooth operations at the front desk and providing exceptional service to our patients.

Main Duties:
  1. Ensure the smooth running of the front desk, responding to patient inquiries and providing exceptional service
  2. Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently, minimizing wait times and maximizing productivity
  3. Handle phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly, maintaining a positive and professional tone
  4. Maintain accurate patient records, updating information as necessary and ensuring confidentiality
  5. Process payments and handle billing inquiries effectively, resolving any issues promptly
  6. Work closely with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow, communicating effectively and anticipating needs
  7. Maintain a clean and organized reception area at all times, adhering to health and safety standards
  8. Perform other administrative tasks as required, contributing to the overall success of the practice
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  1. Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting
  2. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Proficiency in using SOE software (desired but not essential)
  4. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  5. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  6. A friendly and professional attitude
  7. Flexibility to work on various days as needed
