We are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a well-established Civils and Construction Company with over 30 years in the industry.

The role involves:

  • Preparation of Interim Valuations
  • Final Account negotiations and settlement
  • Cost Valuation Reporting
  • Identifying and pricing variations
  • Carrying out site visits on a regular basis
  • Preparation of material requisitions
  • Liaising with clients and attending client meetings
  • Analysis of project costs
  • Managing subcontractor appointments and valuations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An excellent eye for detail and a comprehensive approach
  • Highly experienced in reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated and organised individual
  • Experience of various construction methods
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent understanding of commercial issues
  • Competent in the use of computer packages

The salary will be based on experience.
