About the Role:


Galliford Try is seeking a highly skilled Construction Management Professional to join their team in Scotland.


As a Construction Management Professional, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site-based construction works, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


You will work closely with site engineering teams to plan and programme construction activities, and participate in site discipline meetings to aid effective coordination and delivery of the works.


Key responsibilities will include:



  • Participating in creating a knowingly safe working environment
  • Day-to-day management of site-based construction works
  • Responsible for effective coordination of resources working on the project
  • Ensure temporary and permanent works are delivered in accordance with the design
  • Careful material and plant management to meet programme and financial targets
  • Assist in planning and programming with site engineering teams
  • Participate in site discipline meetings to aid effective coordination and delivery of the works
  • Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and Permit to Work systems are in place before work commences

About You:


To be successful in this role, you will have a proven leadership capability, with the ability to work safely, communicate effectively with site teams and subcontractors, and execute construction work in line with ITPs, quality standards, and safety documentation.
