About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our multi-disciplined engineering team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of projects across transmission, providing leadership, coordination, and ownership of interfaces between multiple technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive project teams in the development and delivery of projects, ensuring leadership, coordination, and ownership of interfaces between technical disciplines.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with Contractors, Consultants, Stakeholders, and Communities to support project delivery.
  • Work closely with engineers and managers to identify and mitigate engineering design risks, ensuring appropriate measures are in place for the pre-construction phase.
  • Prepare and coordinate design assurance reviews and the delivery of key project gate documentation, adhering to Large Capital Projects Governance.
  • Drive design maturity and delivery of scope to required quality and programme, ensuring contractor deliverables are signed off.

Requirements

  • Experience in project development, preferably within Transmission or a similar industry, with the ability to develop optimum project solutions and manage multiple projects.
  • Developing, managing, and reporting on significant projects, with an understanding of the electrical network within the Transmission business.
  • Problem-solving skills and strength of character to address critical matters by project teams.
