Project Manager Opportunity
SSE Transmission is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects and ensuring their successful execution. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile transmission projects across Scotland, contributing to the country's ambition to meet Net-Zero.

About the Role
You will be accountable for the safety, health, and wellbeing of all personnel involved in transmission project activities and will work closely with our design and HVDC Converter Equipment package teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects to cost, schedule, and quality and possess strong people management skills.

Responsibilities
- Planning, monitoring, and controlling projects or packages in line with project execution plans
- Commercial responsibilities, including contract negotiation and NEC contract management

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in engineering, construction, or a related field
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on safety and risk management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
