Job Title: Senior Surveyor

Altus Group is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our dynamic Business Rates Team in London. As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing client cases, formulating appeals, and preparing assessment reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspection and measurement of client properties
  • Drafting floor plans using CAD software
  • Managing client cases and formulating appeals
  • Preparing assessment reports, analyzing data, and gathering evidence for business rates assessment appeals
  • Keeping company records and databases updated
  • Communicating with clients through written and verbal correspondence
  • Delivering excellent service to clients, ensuring a strong and positive working relationship
  • Achieving team KPIs and contributing to the overall success of the wider team
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years rating experience
  • University degree in Real Estate or a related field (non-cognate degrees or equivalent experience will be considered)
  • Full driving license and access to a car
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and CRM systems
