Impact, Evaluation, and Reporting Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Impact, Evaluation, and Reporting Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Impact Team, you will play a crucial role in helping us understand and improve our social and environmental impact. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teams to evaluate projects and programs in a robust and consistent manner, enabling them to meet funder requirements and uncover operational and strategic learnings.
- Raising awareness and understanding of impact and evaluation across the organization.
- Forming relationships with key internal stakeholders to help the Impact Team proactively anticipate evaluation needs.
- Supporting the implementation and development of practices to assess and improve environmental impact following the recommendations of our current research on this.
- Aiding with work to make reporting structures transparent and consistent internally.
- Further activities as required by the Manager and the organization to better understand and improve impact of the organization and programs and projects within it.
As an Impact, Evaluation, and Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing evaluation frameworks and tools to support the organization's impact strategy.
- Collaborating with teams to design and implement impact assessments and evaluations.
- Analyzing data and providing insights to inform organizational decision-making.
- Communicating impact findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including the Impact Team, program managers, and external funders.
- Staying up-to-date with best practices in impact evaluation and reporting, and applying this knowledge to improve our impact assessment and reporting processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of impact evaluation principles and practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing evaluation frameworks and tools.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams to design and implement impact assessments and evaluations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
