About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at beBee Professionals in Dunstable, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement menu plans and food preparation strategies.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes to meet the highest culinary standards.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Head Chef.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role with a strong track record of success.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate the kitchen team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
