Remote Salesforce Enterprise Architect Position

Salary:£100k per annum + benefits

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Enterprise Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions that meet our strategic business needs. This role combines advanced Salesforce technical expertise with a strategic, enterprise-level approach to guide the optimization of Salesforce solutions across our organization.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and project managers, to create innovative Salesforce architectures that enhance productivity, customer engagement, and business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of Salesforce-based solutions, ensuring they align with our overall enterprise architecture and support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting Salesforce Solutions: Lead the design and development of Salesforce-based solutions, ensuring alignment with our overall enterprise architecture and support for business objectives.
  • Defining Technical Strategy: Develop and communicate a Salesforce roadmap and strategy that supports current and future business needs, ensuring alignment with our overall IT strategy and business goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to understand requirements, define needs, and deliver tailored Salesforce solutions.
  • Designing Scalable Systems: Design Salesforce architecture that is secure, scalable, and optimized for performance, working with integration partners to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
  • Solution Governance: Establish and enforce standards, best practices, and guidelines for Salesforce architecture, development, and implementation across our organization.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Salesforce trends and updates, identifying opportunities to implement new features, improve processes, and maximize the effectiveness of Salesforce solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to Salesforce developers, administrators, and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the Salesforce team.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and solution testing to ensure quality and performance meet our organizational standards.
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation on solution architecture and technical specifications, providing training to users and staff on new processes, features, and system updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Considerable experience in Salesforce architecture, design, and development, with a focus on enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect (or similar) preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.), Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Enterprise Architecture: Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and security principles.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse business needs, problem-solve, and recommend Salesforce solutions that support strategic business goals.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading technical teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
