Support Assistant for Individuals with Complex Needs

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced support assistant to join our team in Bolton. The role involves working closely with an individual with complex needs, providing personal care, managing medical equipment, and supporting them with daily tasks. This includes tracheostomy care, ventilation management, and colostomy care. You will also be responsible for maintaining health and wellbeing, cleaning medical equipment, and undertaking domiciliary tasks during night shifts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of health and safety procedures. You will need to be able to work independently, think on your feet, and be willing to learn new things. Training will be provided in areas such as safeguarding vulnerable adults/children, moving & handling, safe administration of medicines, and first aid.
This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work with an individual who requires ongoing support and make a positive impact on their life. Estimated salary £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
