Job Title: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at an alternative provision school in Lancaster. As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, helping them to develop their confidence, self-esteem, and academic skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide academic support to students with special educational needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
• Assist with the delivery of lessons and activities to promote student engagement and progress
• Support students with behavioural and emotional difficulties, using positive behaviour management techniques

Requirements:
• Experience of working with students with special educational needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Commitment to providing a high standard of education to students
