Special Educational Needs Tutor

Maths, English, or Science SEN/SEND Tutors required in Lancashire.
We are seeking experienced SEN/SEND tutors to provide 1:1 tutoring services to young people with various learning needs in a supportive and creative environment.
This role is ideal for qualified SEN/SEND teachers who want to work with children and young people with diverse educational requirements, using a holistic and trauma-informed approach to enhance their engagement and educational journey.

This position involves delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs, using personalized approaches to meet their unique needs.
- Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans
- Providing engaging and inclusive sessions that cater to individual needs and advance their educational and social-emotional growth
- Maintaining accurate records of progress and providing constructive feedback
We are looking for tutors who possess:
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS)
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures
- An Enhanced DBS certificate (we can assist with obtaining this if needed)
- Two professional references
- Right to work in the UK
