Technical Help Desk Agent

We are seeking an experienced Technical Help Desk Agent to join our dedicated team at Hobson Prior. This role involves providing technical and application support to employees globally, with a focus on building strong relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree and a basic understanding of ITIL and ITSM frameworks. Previous experience working in a technical support role is essential, as is fluency in German. Additional languages like Spanish, Italian, or French are a plus.
This role offers a salary of approximately €40,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes flexibility to work rotating shifts and occasional bank holidays. You will also have the opportunity to work from home 50% of the time and enjoy a reliable home internet connection.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing IT support to employees via phone, email, and chat.
- Creating and managing support tickets, documenting all activities.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues or escalating to higher support levels.
- Conducting research to identify trends and resolve complex problems.
As a Technical Help Desk Agent, you will have the chance to contribute to the company's knowledge base, provide training to team members, and participate in internal projects.
