IT Business Development Manager

The role of IT Business Development Manager at Kestrel Recruitment involves introducing new customers to the business, account managing existing customers, and carrying out tailored sales to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating own meetings through business development activity and networking
  • Working with Telecoms account managers to explore cross-selling opportunities for IT products/services
  • Liaising with technical teams to ensure proposals are technically sound
  • Managing sales pipeline
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project roll out and positive customer on-boarding experience
  • Working with internal departments to promote cross-selling across product portfolio
  • Managing accounts through regular contact and quarterly account reviews
  • Staying up-to-date with product development to maintain current product knowledge
  • Best practice use of company CRM

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a self-generating business development role with an MSP, selling IT support amongst other services/products.

We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys working autonomously and is naturally driven by both achieving sales targets and delivering an excellent customer experience.
