Director of Football Performance

The Scottish Football Association is seeking a Director of Football Performance to lead the delivery of a high-performance culture across all national teams. This involves leading and managing a team of full-time staff to develop standardised working procedures for performance services, including performance operations, analysis, data, sports medicine, science, and talent identification.
Key responsibilities include developing and evolving a national teams specific performance strategy, influencing department strategy through close collaboration with the Chief Football Officer, and leading and managing Scottish FA teams across all performance service areas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading high-performing teams in elite sports and a proven track record of working with elite athletes and coaches.
As a Director of Football Performance, you will be responsible for ensuring ongoing improvement by planning and reviewing performance functions on camps across all squads, managing budgets closely with the Finance Department, and supporting the development of club staff in performance areas through knowledge exchange activities.
