We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Heart Failure Nurse Consultant to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating both inpatient and outpatient services for patients with heart failure, providing clinical advice/support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work autonomously and alongside a multidisciplinary heart failure team at NUH, liaising with Community heart failure teams in support of quality care across both Primary and Secondary Care.

The ideal candidate will have cardiology experience at Band 6 - 7, excellent organisational and leadership skills, and a strong ability to lead and motivate change in practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating both inpatient and outpatient services for patients with heart failure.
  • Providing clinical advice/support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
Person Specification

Evidence of experience in Cardiology nursing is essential. A completed or presently undertaken Master's degree and non-medical prescribing are desirable.

An estimated salary of £40,000-£55,000 per annum is offered based on location and experience.
