Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Nottingham, providing high-quality care to patients in the PICU service. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients, supporting colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. You will be working in an established hospital providing acute mental health services and 2 PICU single genre wards.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality care to patients in the PICU service
- Supporting colleagues and promoting positive teamwork
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD)
- A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in mental health nursing (we also consider Registered Learning Disabilities Nurses with experience in an inpatient environment)
- Strong team-working skills
- A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
