Join Our Team as a Sustainability Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Leader to join our team at Whitbread. As a key member of our Executive team, you will be responsible for leading and implementing our sustainability strategy across our UK and German operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of sustainability professionals to ensure effective implementation of our sustainability strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into our business operations and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and report on our sustainability performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading sustainability initiatives and developing strategic plans.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop insights to inform business decisions.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
