Director of Business Growth

CV-Library is seeking a seasoned Commercial Director to lead our commercial operations in the South East region. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
In this critical role, you will have overall responsibility for managing the commercial strategy of our Business Unit, as well as overseeing the performance of existing commercial business ventures. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate financial cost control, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as managing relationships with subcontractors and third parties.
As a Commercial Director, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior management team to develop and implement strategic plans that drive business success. You will also be responsible for identifying and managing risks, as well as ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal procedural requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial leadership, with experience working within a residential house builder. You will also have excellent analytical, oral, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to formulate commercial plans and ensure full engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
- Manage the commercial strategy of our Business Unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial cost control.
- Oversee the performance of existing commercial business ventures, including contract fulfillment and profit targets.
- Identify and manage risks, as well as ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal procedural requirements.
