Job Summary:

The Head of Retail will be responsible for developing and executing retail strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and market share for the company's brick-and-mortar stores.

This role will oversee retail operations, drive customer experience initiatives, and ensure that the stores reflect the company's values and premium positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive retail strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Identify growth opportunities in existing and new markets to expand the retail footprint.
    • Manage merchandising and its KPIs, such as sell-through rate and sales per square meter.
  • Sales and Profitability:
    • Set and achieve sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals for retail operations.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions and adjustments to strategies.
  • Retail Operations:
    • Oversee day-to-day retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store layout.
    • Ensure operational excellence and compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Enhance the customer journey by implementing best practices in customer service and engagement.
    • Foster a customer-centric culture within the retail team.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the retail team, including store managers and sales associates.
    • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages high performance.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage retail budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Optimize cost control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Market Expansion:
    • Identify and evaluate potential locations for new store openings.
    • Develop and execute plans for entering new retail markets.
