Job Title: Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description: In this position, you will support the Retail Management team in overseeing the daily operations of assigned stores within a designated area. You will take charge of various responsibilities while ensuring that the store meets its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Furthermore, in the absence of the Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact, inspiring the team to enhance sales and deliver outstanding customer service while surpassing targets and upholding the company's standards.

  • Customer Service:
  • Guarantee that customers receive attentive and responsible service throughout their shopping experience.
  • Address inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure that the internal team's appearance and dress code align with company standards.
  • Understand the Customer Service evaluation program and Customer Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Sales:
  • Ensure that sales targets are met and, where feasible, exceeded.
  • Be capable of interpreting relevant Oracle reports.
  • Utilize in-store technology, ensuring all team members leverage this at every opportunity.
  • Confidently use the store's dashboard to analyze Footfall, Average Transaction Value (ATV), and Conversion rates.
  • Visual Merchandising:
  • Engage and attract customers to make purchases in-store through innovative visual techniques.
  • Ensure that the weekly brief is implemented within the store.
  • Confirm that all merchandise is accurately priced, price changes are executed, and all Point of Sale (POS) materials are correctly displayed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of stock on display at all times.
  • Training & Development:
  • Foster the development of internal staff and promote career advancement within the organization.
  • Monitor the Training and Development platform and track staff progress through relevant E-assessments.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding of new hires, and staff training.
  • Prioritize management development through the Trainee Management Academy.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Experience in Retail Management.
  • Exceptional Time Management abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel.
