At Essex County Council, we're seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Interim Head of HR Shared Services. This is a unique opportunity to work with us in developing collaboration and trust to deliver better quality HR services at lower cost to our partner organisations.

The role requires a commercial professional with extensive experience in developing large-scale HR services, combined with a strong understanding of local government or a comparable regulated organisation. You will have high standards for service delivery, ensuring our partners receive best-in-class solutions to their HR needs.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for navigating the delicate balance between delivering superior services, ensuring financial efficiency, and paving the way for the long-term sustainability of our HR offerings. Your detailed understanding of commercial dynamics and business acumen will be central to this multifaceted role.
