Job Description

We are seeking a CIMA Finance Apprentice to join our team at Brakes. This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in finance and work towards becoming a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA).

As a CIMA Finance Apprentice, you will be part of our 3-year scheme, which is designed to create well-rounded finance professionals. You will work closely with our sales teams, review and challenge customer pricing and contracts, and help prepare accurate reports and performance analysis.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our distribution and operations teams, network with critical central teams, and participate in rotations across commercial, supply chain, and central finance teams.

We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in pursuing a career in finance and working towards their CIMA qualification. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Need:

  • A relevant undergraduate degree or on track to achieve a 2:1 or better degree in any subject
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
