Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking weekly performance against targets, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and providing insightful analysis to drive business performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and modelling, with experience in SAP and Excel. They will be able to work effectively in an agile commercial environment, with a high level of commercial awareness and financial acumen.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of bonus models, tracking, and preparation of payment schedules.
  • Validation of new business wins and reporting on performance of sales colleagues.
  • Accurate and timely production of reports at appropriate levels of detail, including Daily Sales & KPIs with associated variance analysis.
  • Leveraging analysis into deliverable guidance/recommendations to Sales & Finance managers and directors.
  • Responsible for data management, ensuring data is reviewed frequently to provide accurate reporting and data rules & governance are followed.
  • Forecasting & Flash management and ownership of Workday updates.
  • Support the rest of the team with their daily activities, developing new ways of working or simplifying current reporting.
  • Produce reports/presentations as required to drive business results.
  • Act as an ambassador for finance, promoting cross-functional collaboration and understanding.

About You

We are looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with experience as a Finance Business Partner, Management Account, or Finance Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and modelling, with experience in SAP and Excel. They will be able to work effectively in an agile commercial environment, with a high level of commercial awareness and financial acumen.
