We are seeking an experienced High Throughput Screening Scientist to join our team at The Francis Crick Institute. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology and techniques to advance our understanding of molecular biology.

About the Role

This position will require you to collaborate with researchers to develop and execute proximity-based cell screens and cell-free assays for the identification and validation of molecular glue degraders. You will be responsible for planning and conducting large-scale screens, balancing multiple projects simultaneously and working closely with facility users to educate them on high throughput screening techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Running multiple screening projects simultaneously
  • Previous direct experience of HTS campaigns in either Pharma or academia utilising a range of screening modalities
  • Maintaining a productive dialogue with facility users and educating them in techniques and use of specific machines for high throughput screening
  • Quickly understanding and appreciating unfamiliar areas of biology in order to create the best assay possible with users
  • Familiarity with a wide range of research techniques and biological systems

The ideal candidate will have post-doctoral research experience or extensive relevant experience in Pharma, as well as a strong background in molecular biology and a passion for scientific discovery.

Salary and Benefits
