Senior Immunology Research Scientist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Immunology Research Scientist to join our team at CK Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing and analysing in vitro experiments, as well as developing and optimising assays to support the screening of novel biologics.

About the Role- Design, execute and analyse in vitro experiments to deliver high-quality work packages and meet agreed objectives.
- Develop and optimise assays to support the screening of novel biologics, including monospecific and multi-specific antibodies.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the laboratory by performing cell culture, banking cell lines and isolating primary immune cells from whole blood.
- Support the development of complex co-culture assays to explore functional and phenotypic responses of novel therapeutic antibodies.
- Present data and results to the wider research team on a regular basis.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a PhD in a relevant biological discipline or MSc with at least three years of relevant laboratory-based experience. Experience working in a company setting (biotech or pharma) is strongly preferred. You should also have expertise in innate immunology, specifically gamma delta T cell biology, as well as experience in immunology research across a range of cell types, including isolating, culturing and performing functional assays with primary human immune cells.
About the SalaryThe salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary that reflects the importance of this role in driving innovation and advancement in immunology research.
