Patient Safety Liaison Officer

This position involves providing critical support to families and carers affected by patient safety incidents. As a Patient Safety Liaison Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that their needs are met throughout the investigation process.
About the RoleThe Family Engagement Support Officer assists families and carers during investigations into patient safety incidents. As a Patient Safety Liaison Officer, you will work closely with the Family Engagement Lead to provide administrative support, liaison with staff and services, and assist in report preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the Family Engagement Lead to provide administrative support
- Engage with staff, service users, and family/carers to ensure effective communication
- Contribute to the development of reports and submissions
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, Microsoft Office proficiency, and experience working in patient safety and customer-facing roles.
