Job Title: Lead Carer - Somerset

Talent Finder is seeking an experienced lead carer to manage our car team in providing exceptional care and support for two young adults with autism. This role requires leading a small team of support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, working closely with the family and professionals.

About the Role:
  • Lead a small care team, providing direct support and guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
  • Develop and implement strategies to motivate and engage individuals through structured learning activities that cater to their unique needs and interests.
  • Champion personalised care in the home and community, ensuring a seamless transition between settings.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience supporting individuals with autism, with a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • A valid full UK driver's licence, enabling you to transport service users safely and efficiently.
  • An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • The willingness to engage in training, including PECs, TEACCH, and British Sign Language, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
