Job Description: Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and qualifying potential clients, generating sales leads, and setting appointments for our Account Executives.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads within the supply chain risk management industry.
  • Conduct thorough research on target accounts and identify key decision-makers.
  • Utilize a variety of communication channels, including phone, email, and social media, to engage with potential clients.
  • Build rapport and establish relationships with prospects to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria and determine their fit for Avetta's solutions.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for Account Executives to further develop sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead information within our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to share insights and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a business development or sales development role, preferably within the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of generating qualified leads and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
