Housing Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled Housing Support Professional to join our team in Maidstone, Kent. As a key member of our housing management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support services to our tenants, ensuring their needs are met, and that they enjoy a safe and comfortable living environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage the performance of a team of Housing Support Workers, ensuring high-quality social activities for tenants both within and outside the scheme.
- Minimize void periods by conducting thorough pre/post-void inspections, as well as weekly routine and monthly comprehensive scheme inspections.
- Maintain accurate tenancy records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Desirable: CIH qualification or equivalent experience in housing management.
- Working knowledge of housing benefit and other welfare benefits.
- Excellent understanding of the needs of older people living in supported housing environments.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, staff, and external agencies. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a real difference in the lives of our tenants.
Salary Range: £32,000 - £37,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
