About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Export Control Compliance to join our team at Mane Contract Services.

As the leader of our Export Control Team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant export control regimes in the UK. This includes providing timely export license services, conducting internal audits, and hosting external audits.

You will be accountable for overseeing the Export Control Service in the UK, ensuring compliance while supporting organisational objectives, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring they are up to date.

The role includes negotiating amendments to existing Export Control contracts where necessary, removing liabilities, and closing agreements.

You will also gather knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned to ensure the organisation is equipped with the appropriate processes, tools, and records to effectively manage Export Control activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Export Control compliance within the UK under relevant export control regimes.
  • Provide timely export license services, conduct internal audits, and host external audits.
  • Oversee the Export Control Service in the UK, ensuring compliance while supporting organisational objectives.
  • Negotiate amendments to existing Export Control contracts where necessary, remove liabilities, and close agreements.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Export Control and Compliance.
  • Strong commercial and cultural understanding of the implications of operating across various export domains.
  • Expertise in export licensing services and compliance with regulations, including conducting internal audits and hosting external audits.
  • Solid understanding of legal implications and regulations related to export control.
  • Ability to provide vision and leadership to the UK Export Control Team while supporting broader organisational commitments.
