About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Export Control professional to lead our Export Control Team in the UK. As the Head of Export, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant export control regimes, providing timely export license services, conducting internal audits, and hosting external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Export Control Service in the UK, ensuring compliance while supporting organizational objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure they are up-to-date.
  • Negotiate amendments to existing Export Control contracts where necessary, removing liabilities, and closing agreements.
  • Gather knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned to ensure the organization is equipped with the appropriate processes, tools, and records to effectively manage Export Control activities.
  • Provide vision and leadership to the UK Export Control Team while supporting broader organizational commitments.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Export Control and Compliance.
  • Strong commercial and cultural understanding of the implications of operating across various export domains.
  • Expertise in export licensing services and compliance with regulations, including conducting internal audits and hosting external audits.
  • Solid understanding of legal implications and regulations related to export control.
