An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our Client's UK Export Control team, driving compliance and excellence in export control management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Export Control compliance with relevant regimes, providing timely Export Licence services and conducting internal audits.
  • Accountable for the Export Control Service in the UK, ensuring compliance and supporting organisational delivery.
  • Negotiate amendments to existing Export Control Contracts, removing liabilities and closing Agreements.
  • Collect knowledge and best practices to equip the Client with the right processes and tools for successful Export Control activities.
  • Lead the Export Control Team in the UK, with functional management and development responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Significant years of relevant Export Control/Compliance experience.
  • Good understanding of commercial and cultural implications of operating in export domains.
  • Established leadership and influencing management skills to lead a team and drive change.
  • Expertise in Export Licence services, compliance with regulations, and conducting internal audits.
  • Firm understanding of legal implications and regulations related to export control.
  • Ability to bring vision and leadership to the Export Control Team in the UK, supporting commitments within the wider group.
