Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Export Control team as the Head of Export Control and Compliance. As a key member of our Anson McCade team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UK, European, and US export control regulations.

About the Role

As the Head of Export Control, you will:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of export control strategies and policies.
  • Lead and manage a team of export control specialists to ensure compliance with export regulations.
  • Liaise with international trade and compliance teams across Europe to ensure seamless operations.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners, to promote compliance and best practices.
  • Drive the strategic vision of export control within our organization.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in export control and compliance, with a strong understanding of UK, European, and US regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and implement effective solutions.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Salary: Circa £75,000 (depending on experience)
  • Bonus: Up to 35.5% of base salary
  • Pension: Employer and employee contributions up to 14%
  • Dynamic Working: Hybrid working (2-3 days on-site per week)
