Business Growth Strategist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Growth Strategist to join our team at Alco Valves Group. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for building customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and negotiating deals to achieve revenue growth.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have experience in the valve industry, excellent English verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively. You will work closely with our distribution partners and channels to market our products, research new clients, and develop a network of distributors and agents.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify new business opportunities and turn them into increased revenue through effective negotiation and deal-making skills.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
* Collaborate with our sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, both domestically and internationally.
* Participate in pricing solutions and handle objections to achieve a positive conclusion.
* Ensure that all commercial activities are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in business development or a related field, preferably within the valve industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, resulting in significant revenue growth.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
Benefits and Salary
* Competitive salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
* 33 days annual leave, personal pension, and healthcare plan after 6 months probation.
