Job Summary:

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurturing Infant Care Specialist to lead our Baby Room team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to infants aged 3-24 months.

About the Role:

  • Lead and Manage the Baby Room: Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of infants.
  • Plan and Implement Age-Appropriate Activities: Design and deliver engaging activities that support the unique needs of babies, fostering a love for learning and exploration.
  • Provide Personal Care: Ensure the highest quality of care, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines, that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and involving them in their child's care.
  • Supervise and Support Staff: Provide guidance, training, and support to room staff, promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience working with babies aged 0-24 months.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of child development in the early years.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and inspire a team.
