Job Overview

The Perinatal Mental Health Service is a dedicated program that provides both inpatient and community support for mothers experiencing mental health challenges during pregnancy or after childbirth. Our specialized unit, Chamomile Suite, features a thoughtfully designed 10-bed facility that allows for joint admission of mothers and their infants, or for women in the later stages of pregnancy.

We are seeking a full-time Care Assistant to join our inpatient team. Ideal candidates will be flexible and passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-focused care. A sincere interest in working with mothers and their babies is essential. Previous experience in supporting women facing acute mental health crises is highly advantageous.

Care is provided around the clock, and all team members participate in rotational shift patterns, which include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
