Senior Director, Business Affairs

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director to join our team in eOne's Family Brands division. As a key member of our business affairs team, you will play a crucial role in delivering all legal, contractual, and business services for the commercial content distribution of our eOne Family Brands division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting television and digital exploitation licenses with broadcasters and streaming platforms across the world, ensuring timely closing of deals with licensees and negotiating the best terms possible.
  • Negotiating dubbing agreements and dubbing access letters, working closely with sales teams to assist on commercial deal points and leading on legal matters.
  • Advising content sales teams on IP and legal risks to ensure that our content sales agreements meet corporate objectives.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure transparent information flow and enabling strong financial planning.
  • Providing guidance and support to other team members, helping to plan, develop, and implement content sales business affairs strategies & objectives across global Family Brands distribution teams.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have a UK (or similar) qualified law degree, excellent drafting skills, experience in intellectual property law, particularly in licensing and television/digital exploitation, and the ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
