Job Description
  • Write a minimum of 2-4 articles daily based on editorial briefs.
  • Conduct basic article editing and optimization.
  • Maintain a Wordpress website operating as a newsroom model—writing, leading, and overseeing publishing a high volume of written content and videos (produced in-house) per month.
  • Support and participate in planning and production of video and photo assets based on local market needs.
  • Maintain high industry awareness regarding the competitive set and content excellence.
  • Sourcing and directing local talent (vloggers and bloggers) and link building initiatives.
  • Identify local content opportunities and trends to drive relevant and newsworthy content creation in real time.
  • Implement, evaluate, and grow the Philippine content strategy for projects, ensuring targets and KPIs are delivered on time.
  • Follow style guides and act as a brand guardian, ensuring the highest and most resonant quality bar for content.
Requirements
  • Fluent English speaker.
  • Journalism/Media/Communications degree.
  • 3-6 years of writing and editing experience, preferably in English.
  • Background in digital media and extensive knowledge on Parenting and Baby topics/criteria coupled with Parenting/Lifestyle knowledge.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team of content editors/producers.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics/Adwords tools is advantageous.
  • Inbound marketing expertise (content marketing and SEO).
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $50,000-$75,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
