Insolvency and Recovery Administrator

I am delighted to be partnering with a leading regional accountancy firm, Atkinson Moss, seeking to recruit an Insolvency and Recovery Administrator in a key role to both support and be a part of the Insolvency and Recovery Department in all day-to-day processes and procedures.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and progressing various cases using the Insolvency Practitioners System (IPS).
- Drafting documents and letters from IPS and Business Recovery Department templates.
- Attending case reviews with senior team members.
- Liaising with directors, shareholders, accountants, solicitors, and other third parties regarding appointments in both new and existing insolvency cases.
- Fielding telephone calls and taking detailed messages where appropriate.
- Preparing bills and maintaining budgets for a portfolio of cases.
- Preparing dividends and associated paperwork.
- Listing and archiving debtor records.
- Reviewing financial records.
- Dealing with correspondence mainly by email and telephone.
- Working closely with other members of the team to learn and develop knowledge of insolvency and to become familiar with firm procedures and the IRD procedures manual.
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of clients' businesses.
- Maintaining good working relationships with client staff.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the CPI/ICAEW certificate in Insolvency and/or relevant experience.
