Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

Location: Scunthorpe, UK

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.

Job Description:

This role involves overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the hospital's financial operations. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to ensure efficient, high-quality financial management and support the site in achieving its strategic goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all general accounts administration through a computerised accounting package and spreadsheets.
  • Oversee and process sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations regularly, and manage petty cash and credit card reconciliations, if applicable.
  • Manage credit control procedures as needed to support cash flow and financial stability.
  • Produce management accounts, including Profit & Loss reports, aged debtors and creditors, and intercompany balancing and recharges.
  • Oversee monthly payroll processing, including all aspects of PAYE and pensions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate cash flow forecasts and manage cash flow to support operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet management.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a senior management team.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes, PAYE, and pensions.
