Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Building Support Officer. This role involves ensuring safe working practices, assisting with health and safety inspections, and acting as a Fire Warden.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe working practices, following school policies and procedures, and implementing Health and Safety regulations.
  • Assist Site Manager with health and safety inspections and tests.
  • Act as a Fire Warden and assist with legionella prevention, water temperature checks, and outlet purging.
  • Open or secure the school building, checking evacuation routes and emergency exits are clear.
  • Monitor and support contractors working on site and deliver urgent post as required.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £27,500 per annum, depending on experience, and a 37-hour week contract type. Interviews will be held at a later date, and we anticipate a start as soon as possible.
