About the Role

Aspire Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Medical Office Support Specialist to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a temporary-to-permanent role, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Tasks: The successful candidate will be responsible for processing medical records, data entry, and general filing duties as per practice protocols.
  • Front Desk Duties: They will also manage the front desk, answering phone calls, and responding to queries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Scheduling and Communication: The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively book appointments for clinical colleagues and communicate results to patients while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare administration or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software applications used in a healthcare setting.

Work Schedule

The afternoon surgery shift is from 13:15-20:00 on Mondays, 13:15-18:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. There is no regular weekend or bank holiday work, but you may be required to work some overtime to cover annual leave or sickness.

Compensation and Benefits
