Job Title

The Medical Communications Specialist will play a pivotal role in creating and delivering high-quality medical education materials.

About the Role:
  • Edit and proofread educational content to ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to client style guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality checks for consistency, formatting, and compliance with industry guidelines (e.g., AMA, ICMJE, GPP3).
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, and project managers to support the development of educational materials and ensure project alignment with objectives and timelines.
  • Track editorial workflows, timelines, and review processes to meet deadlines and maintain high standards across all deliverables.
  • Verify references, sources, and data in medical and scientific materials to maintain the integrity of content.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, medical sciences, journalism, or related field; advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD, PharmD) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in medical communications, medical education, publishing, or healthcare.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of scientific and medical terminology, with the ability to accurately interpret complex scientific concepts.

Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
