Medical Secretary Specialist

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical secretary to join our team in the Cellular Pathology department.
About the role:
This part-time position involves assisting Consultant and junior medical staff, as well as laboratory-based staff, in providing an efficient, effective, and comprehensive service in the cellular pathology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for typing letters, second opinions, histology and cytology reports, and other related tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist Consultant and junior medical staff with various administrative tasks
- Provide secretarial support to laboratory managers
- Manage own workload effectively in a busy environment
- Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE level with English Language, Maths, and IT skills
- Trained to use Microsoft Office package
- Experience working as a medical secretary
- Ability to work flexibly and cover other office staff absences
Salary: £25,500 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
